It was so much fun to meet up with Jose and Lorraine this past wekend in the Bunker Hill area of Los Angeles. We walked around, finding some pretty interesting spots. The best part of hte shoot for me was seeing how insanely happy these two are. Everytime Lorraine flashed her BEAUTIFUL smile, Jose just lit up!
Enjoy! Can’t wait to see you at your wedding!

I can’t wait to share more images from my engagement shoot yesterday with Casey & Courtney…but for now, here is a fabulous little tease!!!

The minute I met Travis and Dana at my home for our consultation, I was immediately drawn to their chemistry that they had with each other…as if they had known each other forever. I love meeting people who’s love is so evident & have so much respect for each other.
The day of our engagement session was touch and go. Raining at my house, but apparently clear and gorgeous at the beach….Hmmmm. I was hesitant because I didn’t want to disappoint…however, Travis was the mobile doppler man, and he assured us that it would be perfect.
And boy, was he right! We had an amazing shoot, with LOTS of laughs and fun!
I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in May!!!

Unexpected. Enlightening. Beautiful…..this is how I felt as I was on this particular shoot with Kendra and James. We were literally taking it hour by hour earlier in the day, watching the daunting sky change from white puffy clouds to dark, intimidating monsters threatening a storm.
We decided to go for it, and I am so glad that we did. The location was perfect, my clients were up for anything (and so fun, by the way!), and we challenged the weather and won!
Kendra and James, I am looking forward to shooting your wedding in April. You guys ROCK!
Taking a chance on the moody weather, Kendra, James and I decided to play against the odds, and we won!
Let me tell you, it was the best decision we could have made….
I have only managed to edit one image so far, but I will post more over the weekend!
Make it fabulous!
So… this was part 2 of Zach and Allison’s engagement session. Their first session was done down on Balboa Island, and for their second shoot, they came to visit me in Claremont!!! They even flew in from the OC…that’s one way to avoid the SoCal traffic!!!
I am so excited for their fabulous wedding in August at Balboa Bay Club, so stay tuned!
My favorites from the day….
Since Andrew and Gila live in the heart of Corona Del Mar, they thought it would be fun to have their engagement session right in their own backyard! We started out at a little winery in Laguna, then made our way to the beach!
We had a lot of fun:
This one just makes me laugh!!!
Can’t wait until your wedding in August! Thanks for the great time!

Chris and Kelli live in the bay area, and it was really important to them to capture their engagement pictures in an area where it is very special to them…San Fransisco!
I flew up there for the day and had a lot of fun getting to them more as we drove to several locations that they loved.
We started at the Golden Gate Bridge but the wind and fog were so bad that day, it really didn’t work out. BUT….there were these really cool abandoned bunkers that were there and i absolutely LOVED the feel and texture of them:
This is their baby, Otis. He loved making his appearance!
On to some cool architecture…
Then to downtown & the wharf!
This is “The Bush Man”!!!
He hides behind these branches and scares people as they walk by!!!
It was hilarious!
The Bush Man has been around for 28 years…
Kelli & Chris: Looking forward to your wedding in October!
I know I always say this, but I just love my clients! With each engagement session i do, I enjoy getting to know my clients better and have so much fun laughing with them throughout our shoot.
It is so important to click (no pun intended!) with your clients because you are documenting something very special to them, and it always puts them at ease when they can let their guard down and just be themselves.
I have been very lucky with getting clients that i REALLY enjoy!
Chris and Clarissa are no exception! As childhood family friends, they have had the advantage of knowing each other and their families for a very long time. Clarissa’s brother and Chris were great friends, and I can picture Clarissa as the little sister who always wanted to be a part of their fun….well, as the years went on and their interests changed, guess what happened???!!!
They fell in love!!! We had a blast in Pasadena at City Hall and the surrounding area shooting their engagement session!
Thanks for the great time, and I can’t wait until your wedding in August!
